Rasulallah (ﷺ) said that when a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three:
a continuous charity,
knowledge by which people derive benefit,
pious child who prays for him.
[Sahih Muslim]

The aim of this website is to share scholarly gems as well as personal reflections derived from the Noble Qur’an, authentic ahadeeth, as well as wise sayings of the salaf and scholars. Insya Allah these gems and reflections are based on the teachings of Rasulallah ﷺ and understanding of his sahabah, as well as some contemporary opinions that do not deviate from the understanding of the salaf.

If these writings have benefited you in any way, or if you feel that it may benefit others, please feel free to copy, share, disseminate in any way you can. My only request is to please link it to this website, so that its other contents may continue to benefit the readers. May Allah s.w.t. accept our deeds and forgive all of our shortcomings.

Jazakumullahu khairan.

Sincerely,
Aida Msr

  1. Thank you Aida for sharing. May Allah bless you with good life in this world and hereafter.
The coffee addict who always makes me calm when I am sad.

  2. Assalaamu-‘Alaikum,

JazakAllāh for such an amazing website, filled with Noor SubhanAllāh.

I also would like to point out that there is a mistake on Pg1 of the Sūrah Al-Kahf Challenge, it says “insya Allāh” which I believe is misspelt.

    JazakAllāh and Wassalaam.

    1. Wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullah brother,

Jazakallah khayr for your kind words. May Allah s.w.t. accept from us.

“Insya Allah” is normally how I spell it, but I appreciate your feedback.

      Wassalaam.

  3. Assalaamu-‘Alaikum,

I wanted to notify you regarding some advertisements on the website that are… not part of ‘Hayaa (there are some inappropriate advertisements).

I love the site and truly think it’s a remarkable effort Masha’Allāh, may Allāh (SWT) Reward you with Al-Firdaus Al-A’la for it – Aaameen. Though it disappoints me to scroll down to read further an amazing thread only to find an advertisement which degrades Women.

This may just be my phone, but please notify me if it is, In Shaa Allāh.

    JazakAllāh and Wassalaam

    1. Wa alaykum salaam wa rahmatullah,

Jazakallah khayr for your kind words and for pointing this out, I did not realize that there was such an ad on this site. The ads are not selected by site owners, but they are generated by WordPress’ advertising software. I am using WordPress’ free plan which unfortunately does not allow removal of ads.

Not sure how to block ads on phone, but if you’re using Chrome on the PC, there are many free ad-blocker extensions that can be installed.

May Allah forgive me for what I do not know, and that He does not make this shortcoming against me.

      Wassalaam.
